"This is a sad portrait of a man suffering from mental illness and his slow descent into madness. Edward Norton's boring nature is perfectly fit here next to Brad Pitt's charisma and method of indoctrinating his so-called friends, molding them to his tortured will. This is a really strange yet hypnotic movie."
"I love films where a character’s #InternalConflict drives the plot and themes. In #FightClub, Edward Norton, as the protagonist and narrator, undergoes significant #PersonalGrowth. He starts as a disaffected and disillusioned individual, grappling with insomnia and a lack of purpose. Through his experiences with Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) and an underground Fight Club, he confronts his inner conflicts, challenges societal norms, and ultimately strives to understand his true self. ▪️Although the film is #violent and overtly #manly, this film remains a perennial #favorite of mine because its underlying message encourages us to continually assess and strive to become the adults we truly aspire to be, rather than conforming to the ones society has shaped and conditioned us to be.

"“Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy **** we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our great war is a spiritual war. Our great depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars, but we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very ****** off.” "
"I don’t 100% hate this movie some parts I really really like and can get down with. But I feel like this movie has been misconstrued somehow specially by the male sort they almost take it at face value but I think they are missing so much subtext. This is the main reason I don’t like this movie people have made it miserable for me. In some cases this movie has done more damage then good for the good fight (ending capitalism) and has brought out some dangerous male fantasy for some. No thanks."
