As armies mass for a final battle that will decide the fate of the world--and powerful, ancient forces of Light and Dark compete to determine the outcome--one member of the Fellowship of the Ring is revealed as the noble heir to the throne of the Kings of Men. Yet, the sole hope for triumph over evil lies with a brave hobbit, Frodo, who, accompanied by his loyal friend Sam and the hideous, wretched Gollum, ventures deep into the very dark heart of Mordor on his seemingly impossible quest to destroy the Ring of Power.

"Part 3 of the trilogy of my favorite high fantasy films. Of course I love Viggo so Aragorn is close to my heart. But having read all the books, I love all the characters and all the actors were perfect casting for their roles. I cry every time. Always watch the extended versions is my advice. "
"The epic conclusion to the most epic epic ever. Again, the story does not let us down, it is given the grandiocity it deserves. The humor fades, faces darken, and the evil stakes rise. I will not spoil the ending for those who have not seen it, but I will say there are ending for every main character. Nobody is forgotten, and everyone's story has a climax. It truly is a fitting end to such a unique trilogy. We will never see a trilogy like this one again, a near perfect endeavor. "
"A fitting end to an amazing cinematic cycle. It continues the glorious vision of Jackson, generating spectacle and thrilling storytelling. Excellent narratively, artistically, and technically, the film is exciting, heartbreaking, and exhausting. It is not a breezy adventure but a full-bore heart-wrenching and eye-popping experience. It is unforgettable."

"My favorite LotR film in the trilogy. Definitely do not recommend the 4DX experience for this one haha the motion seats get pretty jerky when the war elephants come. I was making sure my coffee remained in my cupholder the whole time haha
Anyway, the movie is the most epic, the most Action of the bunch, and a complete, fulfilling ending that makes me feel like it actually was completed. Heavily recommend. "
