"I took a stab at this Amazon Original Series DEADLOCH, which feels like a #spoof or #parody of #BROADCHURCH … It felt a little over-the-top, ridiculous and #wacky at first, but the humor grabbed me, and now I’m halfway through it, trying to figure out #whodunit

"I'm currently watching this and its hillarious. All the farfetched antics that australian dramas have but it's actually a good story too. Yes the plot is obvious but they do a good job of selling other suspects. I love Eddie, who often says what I exclaim to the tv, which makes me love her even more. And when she eventually calms down from the hyperactive comedy relief ferret it becomes a really good show.."
"Quirky but good"

"This show is very unique, written in a completely unique way. It initially caught me completely off guard. It's brash, darkly funny and pokes fun at our world in a wonderfully humorous way. This is what happens when women write mysteries, and I'm 200% here for it. Hope the showrunners make more shows in the future"
"What a refreshing mix of drama and humor. The mystery is complex enough to keep you guessing and suspicious of everyone. The main character is methodical and straightforward and surrounded by big characters that bring a lightness to an otherwise very dark story.
There are themes of gender inequality that are heavy handed at times, but so is some of the humor. Much of the show is in your face, but not the murder mystery. It’s an interesting mix of broad strokes and nuanced storytelling. I was engaged from the first episode. There are real moments of true emotion and relatability of a small town amongst the bigger moments. "
"Funny, surprising, great characters. Kept me guessing to the end. I hope there's a Season 2!"
