"This was a pleasant surprise. Did not know what a great actress Laura Dern is. And I so enjoyed the creative plot and heartfelt writing of Michael White, not to mention his acting was also great. I was intrigued by the premise of this show. Following an emotional crisis and breakdown the lead character completes a lengthy rehab in which she then looks at life as a true gift and now wants to give back. But can you really just go through life with rose colored glasses on. So she decides she wants her life to now have purpose and meaning. But the day to day obstacles she encounters makes that goal rather difficult to achieve. I found this whole idea to be thought provoking. It’s too bad this show is only 2 seasons but it did wrap up at a good stopping point. "
