"Naruto is infamous for its repetition of scenes, excessive flashbacks, and extreme amounts of filler. It's unwatchable in its normal state, but an actual hero recut the ENTIRE show including Shippuden to make it easier to watch. Reaction shots were toned down, flashbacks are only there if they're plot relevant, and over ONE HUNDRED hours of FILLER was taken out. The whole show flows so much better and it's the only way I would recommend someone watch Naruto these days. It's known as The Ocean Cut and can be found floating around the internet. "
"Early Naruto was cool because it was grounded to a degree (remember hand signs) and everyone was on (somewhat) on equal footing. The downward spiral starts with Neji vs Naruto when Naruto loses his wittiness/tactical ability and starts to overpower his opponents because he has fox chocolate battery inside himself. Maybe you can count it earlier when Naruto doesnt have the means of completing the paper espionage exam and he gets through just with belief in himself. Sadly power escalation creeps through and Naruto’s underdog status really comes into question. "
"This show eased my spirit after DBZ ended. Fantastic anime, awesome characters, and great memorable moments. Lots of fillers, but that’s ok. Watch this one and then get ready for Shippuden, that’s where the magic happens! "

"One of the most filler episodic series I've ever soon. Lol IJK, I love Naruto. The storylines will have you on many an emotional rollercoaster. If you're acting like me, you'll be cheering on the villains. The one thing this series has taught me though, is don't get attached to characters."
