"This anime was so cute, there were moments where I was kicking my legs up from all the cute feels - I'm not exaggerating. The art styles are so pretty and they do a wonderful job of utilizing different styles to add a creepy/horror, comedic or romanctic lens to the scene. Watching this made me even more excited to watch the new live action adaptation that just came out, hopefully it lives up to the standards🤞🏼 "
"I love all the yearning in this show! The tension kept me hooked. I love the dynamic between Sawako, her friends, and Kazehaya. Light romances like this always get me. SPOILERS: I really like Kurumi and Kento, too. Even though they've messed with other's relationships, I still find them entertaining and kind of relatable. There are a couple of things that kept me from fully enjoying the show. Both of the first episodes of Season Two and Season Three were mostly flashbacks, which kind of annoyed me. I thought that those episodes would be grander, like most season premieres. I was also not a fan of the glossing over of domestic violence - Kento and Sawako's reactions to Ayane's ex-boyfriend slapping her are the best and, in my opinion, the most appropriate for an adult man slapping his child lover. I do understand, though, that the show was set in the late 2000s/early 2010s, so that could be affecting how the characters view domestic violence. Overall, the show was really good and I liked it a lot - there are just some aspects of it that I didn't love and found it hard to watch. "
