"Really enjoyed this story. I read it in almost a day. I liked the take on how destructive systems of oppression can be (and new ways they can work to be oppressive) and the hope it gave at the end. The story holds your attention until the end. Love a good Black thriller. "

"get out/PLL/dear white people/truman show all in one! this book seemed a little cliche in the beginning but I was thrown for a ride with all the twists towards the end. it was very clear the author was British and not from the US, as there were a couple odd inaccuracies in the way the characters spoke.
