To get back in his donor’s good graces, he needs to fix his image fast, and dating Kareena is his only option.Even though they have warring interests, the more time Prem spends with Kareena, the more he thinks she’s might actually be the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. "A moderately spicy read, lots of back and forth between arranged marriages and love matches and pressure to wed in Indian culture. "

"I enjoyed this one! The first 3/4 where really good. The last 1/4 fell apart a little for me. It felt a rushed and a over the top. There was also some “millennial” language that threw me off a few times and the Charlie nickname was weird. Overall I enjoyed this book! Really liked the dynamic between the mmc and fmc. Felt like they communicated well and I always like that. ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5 🌶🌶.75/5"

"3/5 🌶️level, and 4/5⭐️ level! This book was a definite page turner with a Punjabi modern twist on Lady whistledown. The relationship and chemistry between the two main characters was wonderful and leaked off the pages, with the readers rooting for Kareena to find her true love match and settle for nothing less. My only critique was that the ending seemed to drag on a little. ALSO, there were multiple typos, which shocked me. However, this was a great read and I highly recommend it💜"

"I would probably give this book 3.5 stars, but I rounded up.
‘Dating Dr. Dill’ is a fantastic book! I really love Prem and Kareena’s relationship; they are a really cute couple. Amazing interactions occur between Prem and Karenna. Every aspect of it—the love, the spice, the tension—is wonderful.
Furthermore, although she doesn't demonstrate it often, which is unfortunate, Karenna is a strong lead, and Prem is always there to support and stand up for her. I love that relationship. It makes my heart flutter.

Constructive Criticism:
• I wish this book followed the fake-dating troupe more. After reading the synopsis, I assumed it would be a main troupe. However, most of the book is spent on the main characters getting to know each other (which is still cute, but unexpected). Then they start dating for real. Not much fake dating, unfortunately.
• He calls his di*k ‘Charlie..’ It was quite a turn-off for me because who tf names their di*k? In addition, my dog’s name is Charlie.
• One thing I will never understand: how is it possible for a man to long for their dead significant other for years, and see one girl (our female lead), which changes the course of action and that longing fades within a few minutes due to her attractiveness. It's simply confusing."

"3.5 stars - I enjoyed the progression of both Rina and Prem’s feelings as well as their numerous debates about the significance of love. I thought Prem’s perspective was well developed and defended considering it is a romance novel! There were many laugh out loud moments as well as sweet ones. However, the use of the name “Charlie” to refer to Prem’s ***** weirded me out and I did not like how frequently it came up. It took me out of the scenes I was reading and was just overall uncomfortable.

Thank you to Edelweiss for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review."
