"The book that started the journey to Narnia through a cupboard, as four siblings journey away from London and destruction during World War Two they are given a chance to explore a world of fantasy worth reading!"

"I love this style of writing and how C.S. Lewis made it feel like he was directly telling the story to the reader or to his goddaughter, Lucy. I'm more familiar with the movie adaptations, so I was surprised with how little the book actually covers about the war at the end. It definitely makes it so that it's appropriate for a wider age group. "

"This is perhaps my favorite book of this entire series! Admittedly, Edmund gets under my skin, but I think that's kind of the point. If he weren't such a jerk the book would have been quite dull. Lucy and Peter are my two favorites of the siblings! So many lovable characters, a fun, unique plot, amazing world building, and a humorous writing style! 10/10 would recommend! This series is a must read!"

"I wanted to read this bc as an adult I've never read the series or watched the films. This book was great. I love that it's written in a way that you are being told a story. Seriously, curl up with some coffee, a blanket, and read the book. It's a quick read. I will def finish the series "

"This book, like the first took a while to get into, but once the kids were in Narnia, it was much faster paced. Thank goodness the Witch is defeated, but where did Aslan go? I can't wait for the next adventure!"
