It's one thing to read a story, and be done with it, but its a totally different spectrum when that particular story was profusely engaging to a point where you are able to recall it based of pure muscle memory. It started off great, but I’m confused as well as annoyed about some misleading, unclear, or lack of characters’ common sense details in the book. Why would Robin choose to live like an impoverished hermit after leaving Adam? Why would Amelia accept a weekend hotel stay, albeit free, without checking its website for details? How did Adam know his way around the chapel? Can anyone else relate? I need insight. Lol"

The husband and wife are both extremely flawed people so you don't easily choose a side, and the addition of other mysterious characters into their backstories along with the time-jumps of the wife's letters keep you guessing what happened to their marriage. There are plot twists and revelations that change the whole story on a dime but also bring all the pieces together! Feeney tells a dark love story tinged with haunted pasts, secrets, and insidious plots."

The twist was mildly entertaining. Pretty interested in how they’re gonna adapt this into a limited series on Netflix because of the twist."

Reading from that perspective made ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ quite the non- compelling read for me, especially since I am largely unacquainted with suspense novels. After getting past the larger revelations of what is actually taking place, and parts of the story being fully elucidated- I began to really understand the leading element"

Somewhere a long the way it was like Death of a salesman vibes and then The Silent Patient with a little sprinkle of the 7 Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. You forget that Adam has prosopagnisia for a hot minute and then you instantly feel bad because of all that he mush be going through. Highly recommend"
