Misery

"This is definitely one of the more pushed-aside books by Steven King. It has an eerie and suspenseful plot, and the way it is written makes you feel like you are really inside the main characters mind. There are some gory scenes, but nothing I couldn’t handle. Loved the detail and especially the character of Annie Wilkes."

"Well I am of the minority of people who do not much care for Stephen Kings books. He is an amazing writer yes and has inspired countless others to be sure. King's works are just not in my normal wheelhouse. Yet I find myself snatching another and another off the shelf during the fall months. Something about them is horribly enticing. Funnily enough the word Cock-a-doody freaks me out to the point where I think Annie will pop up from behind the couch if I say it. The writing process intrigued me as well. I feel like King puts so much of himself into these stories so that maybe some of the concepts are of his own personal experiences like "The gotta"."
