"Hm. This one took me almost a month to finish, which is a really long time for me. I just couldn’t get into it. I wasn’t a fan of the characters, and I really wasn’t loving the way this was written, a novice way of storytelling that very randomly felt it shifted writing styles. I would feel like the perspective shifted in places it didn’t make sense."
"Some parts were predictable but I was not expecting that ending! A good fast-paced thriller👍"
"Predictable, though a plot twist at the end. "
"Fun book but not my favorite by Shari Lapena. If you’ve read any of her books, you know to anticipate a big twist so you never trust anything until the end which is fun the first time or two but then kind of annoying after that. There are at least 3 movies from the 80s/90s that this book was clearly inspired by. I don’t want to give anything away but comment if you think you know which I’m talking about!"
