When your nemesis also happens to be your fiancé, happily ever after becomes a lot more complicated in this wickedly funny, lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy debut.Naomi Westfield has the perfect fiancé: Nicholas Rose holds doors open for her, remembers her restaurant orders, and comes from the kind of upstanding society family any bride would love to be a part of. They never fight. They’re preparing for their lavish wedding that's three months away. And she is miserably and utterly sick of him.Naomi wants out, but there's a catch: whoever ends the engagement will have to foot the nonrefundable wedding bill. When Naomi discovers that Nicholas, too, has been feigning contentment, the two of them go head-to-head in a battle of pranks, sabotage, and all-out emotional warfare. But with the countdown looming to the wedding that may or may not come to pass, Naomi finds her resolve slipping. Because now that they have nothing to lose, they're finally being themselves—and having fun with the last person they expect: each other.

"I really like this book. It is cute, funny, swoony, and hilarious (like laugh out loud). However, I was not a huge fan of all of the pranks. I understand they make up the story, but it was kind of hard for me to get through them. So, once that bitterness turned to sweetness, I could not put the book down, especially with the great storytelling (I could really imagine each scene). Their acts of service, support, and kindness for each other make up for a beautiful love that I loved to read. They were beyond adorable with great banter. So, I think that their love and cuteness really makes up for a lot of those pranks, and I would recommend this book."

"It's like if "War of the Roses" were redemptive. The pettiness was off the charts, but I think that was the point. I thought it was a bit over the top. However, I think the great ugliness of 2/3 of the book made the last third that much sweeter. If you're looking for some dichotomy, this is a good choice."
"I’d say 4/5 stars. Only because the “pranks” were kind of more mean than funny and the pranking process was never established, it just started which made me mad because it was a little over half the book. But once they fall in love it’s really really really cute and I fell in love with their love. And I like how the cover matches a scene in the book. It’s a sweet love story."
"Everything from after 1/5 in to the 4/5 portion could have been seriously rewritten. This had so much potential for cute banter but everything was so childish. I have behaved better to roommates I hated and I was presumably younger than this couple. Naomi honestly seems like she has a mental health problem and her fiance reacted horribly. The miscommunication between the two of these characters was really hard to read."

"Oh my god!! That was so freaking good! Sarah Hogle is such a great, entertaining, funny, story teller! I love the way she describes everything!!! The way she built up the story with the little details made this book a tremendous read.
I loved this book. So great tips for couples losing their spark or even just how to love! It also makes me want to get married again!! I wonder if there’s Nicholas’s POV??? "
