Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Chalice of the Gods

"I was so excited when I saw this book! The idea of them bringing our original cast back together again, but I was also pretty nervous. Rick Riordan did an amazing job, per usual, making us fall in love with characters and storyline. I want to note that this book focuses on one of the three quests that Percy needs to accomplish before he can be accepted into college. Meaning, we will have at least two more books covering this series. I loved how it gave us all the personalities we’ve come to know and love as Percy, Annabeth, and Grover. We got to meet some new gods, some new monsters, as well as our same old irresponsible gods. I honestly loved the mini quests that equaled into the big quest but I did want it to be a bit more deep. Like for any of the Percy Jackson books I think if you love Percy and the trio already, if you enjoy mythology, quests, the gods, lighthearted laughs, then this will be a good book for you to pick up. I am so excited to see what they do with the rest of this series and how they continue to progress the trio!"
