"My jaw was dropped as soon as I closed this book! I was expecting to enjoy it, yes, but I wasn’t expecting this book to land such a place in my heart! This book is such a heartwarming tale! Following an old man who hand delivers books, along with a 9 year old bubbly girl. Their relationship is very wholesome, and blossoms throughout the pages of the story! More characters get introduced, the old man’s clients who he associates with different book characters! Their banter and development is so so so well written. Not a dull moment with these characters! My favorite part to read was the main characters thought process regarding books! As a reader, it was like the things I think/have thought before, written perfectly out for me on a page! This shorter read (less than 300 pages) was filled with so much life, and emotions!! It brought me to tears, and made me laugh! The Door-to-Door Bookstore is amazing read. In fact it now holds the title of my Favorite Book! I’d definitely recommend this to anyone✨"
