Topic: Throne of Glass
I just finished Throne of Glass, and I wasn’t wildly thrilled with it. I didn’t necessarily dislike it, but especially compared to how I devoured ACOTAR, it just really felt kind of lackluster to me. I’m already have the next book on my kindle, but I’m debating if I should start it and continue the series or not. Thoughts?

Sarah Parker Personally, I thought the first book was the weakest and it got better from there. I’d say that if you already own the second book, you may as well give it a try.

Regina Yes. Definitely continue reading. It's a bit slow till the 3rd book and then it gets very good. If you are still interested in the series by the time you finish the fourth book, I would recommend reading Tower of Dawn and Empire of Storms in tandem to avoid spoilerels.

Brian strong Did you try her new book House of Earth & Blood. I thought that the plot was better in that one

Keriann Bellamy Yes agreed the first book is quite slow, with a repetitive and strange plot, but if you enjoy Maas hang in there! I did not like the first book, but the series as a whole is a wild ride!

Avery Definitely keep reading the series they do get better. There are definitely some that are better than others, but if you were a fan of ACOTAR you’ll enjoy the rest of the series

Brittany Athena 1st/2nd book of a series can tend to be like that cause they’re setting up a world/plot line

Andrea I loved acotar and started this series and I found the constant “she is so beautiful” “she is so sexy” “she is perfect” tone obnoxious so I never continued it.

Nicole Ferland Keep reading. I know the writing is a bit rough in the first book or two, but it does get a helluva lot better the deeper into the story you get. I promise.
