"I deeply admire that this film was able to achieve such a high level of intensity with such a minimal plot. It was practically almost all atmosphere, but it was damn near dripping with it. Instead of being driven by a full on narrative, It Follows is driven more by a singular concept. It succeeds as a film because the concept is executed to perfection."

"This was so eerie! It started giving me heart palpitations within the first 5 minutes. I’ve never seen a horror movie set up the entire tone of its film in the first scene as well as this film did. I’m a geek when it comes to movie scores, and this film’s score was top notch! It was suspenseful and electronic in a way that reminded me of Stranger Things and I loved it. The cinematography was also incredible and really kept you on your toes throughout. My favorite thing about this film though was the analogy of the creature essentially being an STD and being passed from sexual partner to sexual partner. I think that premise was super clever and very original. Would totally watch again!"

"Okay so the first 4 minutes of this movie are Brilliant it’s Suspenseful and you ask all the questions you should be asking in a horror movie like this what is she running from and how bad is it? But the rest of the movie is just kinda boring and flat with a few cool things here and there but damn..with a Concept like this you can make it so much cooler, fast pace and interesting. But who am I..just a girl on the internet. Hahaha oh the music is good 👍🏻"

"Why, why was this made?! This was BEYOND BORING! It made me so angry how boring it was. It was insulting to the horror genre. The lead actress was awful. I literally wanted her to die so that I didn’t have to watch her anymore. A complete and utter waste of time. "
