For a message movie, it needs to be applicable to the real world. But, in this movie the main characters surrounding our protagonist and the situations he finds himself in are totally devoid from reality. So I kind of checked out. It left with me a sense of undeserved smugness. And, if that's not enough, it's mawkish all to hell."
