The Road to El Dorado

"Needed a palate cleanser after other movie. Plus just wanted to see what this was about. Old animated movies are still such a treat. Will definitely watch more. I had a lot of fun with this. I loved how they switched the story expectations. I really thought it was gonna be them exploring looking for treasure. But found the god storyline a lot more entertaining. The animation can be strange looking but still looks good. The comedy well didn’t make me laugh much did have a really nice charm to it. It sometimes didn’t hit but not many times does that happen. Chel was great. I’ll be honest she is quite nice to look at. But also found her to be a really fun character. Plus her voice actor does an amazing job. Really enjoyed the bromance. Pretty cool duo. Liked some of the songs. Most of them didn’t care for though. Almost didn’t watch when I saw musical as the genre. Had a very rare tiring day. So was pretty tired watching this. Which honestly was great because was such a vibe. Will definitely rewatch again."

"Watch if you like night at the museum, hercules, and jedtavius (don’t ask) - first of all this whole movie is like the lewis and clark expedition in a way, i don’t know why i thought of that… anywhom, miguel and tulio are my very amazing two bi dads who’s relationship is on the last string and chen is my really chaotic ally-supporting auntie 
nobody told me this movie was literally so dirty like hello 😭  **** is such a fun and chaotic movie like i don’t know what’s happening and the music is so fire like hello it’s such a short movie but everything is packed together so well and even though there’s not much happening it honestly feels like there’s a LOT going on 
the animation is so like… fever dream-ish, if you know what i mean- like you know how older Disney movies use rotoscoping? this movie just seems so flat and vibrant (in a good way)
thoughhh i feel like chen and tulio were like the most awkward thing in the movie, which took off points. it was hella weird watching that with my aunt, but it’s a kids movie, so who do i care 😭 there’s a lot of adult jokes here anyway, but my favorite one (not sure if it’s counted as one but it’s still a dirty joke) was when ____ said “HOLY SHIP!!” i laughed so hard at that LOL
anyway it was pretty good, i won’t watch it again probably but i liked it while it lasted, very funny, makes me concerned and makes me want to pay for therapy now, but it’s all good!
