"Very trippy typical Oliver stone, smooth transitions -great soundtrack (duh as ****). It is very cheesy at times and the performances aren't exactly the greatest but since this is like one of my favorite bands I'm unfairly biased. Its a mid-movie but if you're a big doors fan you'll enjoy it. If you want an actually super well done biography read the drummers book called the same thing."
"6/10. Film about Jim MorriStone, not Jim Morrison! Like any serious Doors fan, it's easy to recognize that this is a very innacurate depiction of an iconic enigma. Oliver Stone admitted his embellishments. The surviving Doors complained profusely. It's a shame that this film was produced to depict that all Jim Morrison was a perpetually mean, chronically alcoholic, drug addicted, horrible human being - this wasn't so in reality."
"Val Kilmer plays a convincing Jim Morrison. Good movie "
