"Despite being a crime-thriller film, it also takes a stand against people like Nino Brown, and says how New York City is invested with people just like him. I love crime thrillers, and I really like how they showed the rehabilitation of Pookie (a very likeable character) and incorporated him on the job. I also didn’t realize how I’ve seen so many clips of the film previously before watching in full, haha. I’ve rewatched the film twice, and I’d say it’s pretty high on my favorites list."
