"A rewatch after a long time. Granted I haven’t seen the original 1974 film, but I really liked this film. Strong screenplay and filmmaking (editing in particular stands out). Fantastic performances from both Denzel Washington and John Travolta, who play off of each other so well. Travolta in particular is really great in villain roles. Another reliably solid Tony Scott/Denzel Washington collaboration (their movies are always watchable). Highly recommended."

"What a fantastic thriller. The movie delves into the pyschology & mindset of the main antagonist all while pulling an innocent man (which becomes the protagonist) into a life altering day. The ending was ambiguous but well executed nonetheless. "
