"It was ok. Not great. Not sure I'll ever watch it again. The sets were cool though."

"Underrated 80's sci-fi "horror" film. A beginners-guide to Inception"#scifi "

"#horrorfest I haven’t seen this eye opener in yrs. Excellent cast includes: Chris Plummer, Max Von Sydow (always stolid, hes also swedish) , & Dennis Quaid. George Wendt (Cheers) had a bit part. The premise is a gov project where psychics are trained to enter others dreams for nefarious reasons. This actually happened in Veitnam, U.S. CIA project called Operation Phoenix. CIA did the same with Operation SoulCatcher, the movie Fire Starter is about this (excellent easter egg movie). The Nightmare On Elm Street franchise is Phoenix. There were some articles in L.A times in late 70s about Hmong men , refugees from Laos dying mysteriously in their sleep. Facts that are spookier than fiction, lol 4/5 "

"If INCEPTION was made in the '80s, this would be it."

"it’s good, Max Von Sydow is the best, genre bending and a concept that holds your attention for the duration. The production value was skewed from the built sets and locations to the actual talent and consistency of the camera and sound crew. Seems like sound takes were enhanced in post or improperly mixed, weird lens and angle choices, or multiple shots with gunk trapped in the sensor. "

"My father taught me about lucid dreaming as a child when I had night terrors. This movie made me so excited to see others doing it."
