"⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 What sets The Runaways sordid story apart is being one of the first all girl rock bands, pioneers for sure and the most legendary since they were only 15 years old. At the mercy of a predatory & abusive manager they should have been protected but you know, the 70s. I wish the film handled their hyper sexualization in a way that accurately depicted its victimizing nature instead of resorting to the same sort of hyper sexualizing they were subject to. Things were definitely missed. "
