"When I first watched this back in my early teens I just did not get it. Mainly because I was unfamiliar with any of the source material that it satirizes; but also, rewatching it several times over the years following, I see that most of the comedy is so subtly woven in that it does take repeated viewings to catch it all. This is Spinal Tap is a movie I think I am still learning to appreciate, that I look forward to revisiting again."
