Monster High: The Movie

melly_loveee shared a tip "I had little hopes for this because cartoons made into real life movies aren’t that great. The acting and songs weren’t bad but it was cringe and I felt like Frankie was portrayed very poorly in this movie like in the shows she was my favorite and before the movie I was saying she was my favorite but no they portrayed her as way too dumb in the movie. As for Clawdeen her character was kinda off and the romantic interest never happened from what I remember in the cartoons."

sherrie_mckeen shared a tip "I really disliked how they strayed from the original story. The characters are harsher of each other. Songs were catchy but lost the whole appeal. The movies with the doll series was great. My daughter and I loved watching them. This one just was hoky. And reminiscent of Mean Girls with music. Could of been better."

midajah_hayden shared a tip "The movie isn't that bad. Some of the effects and costumes are cheap and look odd at certain angles. The story starts off pretty good, but near the end with the "twist" villain it becomes corny. The music is pretty good, especially out of the dark. The actors and actresses did a really good job and the credits show that they all had fun. Is this the best monster high movie? No, but its also not the worst."

jenna_usinger shared a tip "I hated the idea of a new generation of monster high but once I watched it, it wasn’t bad I didn’t care for Frankie being non-binary but I hated how clawdeen was lesbian before but now she isn’t like they changed it but made Frankie non binary like now it’s noticeable compared to being gay like come on. Duce is cool but like just because clawdeen is the main character doesn’t mean she has to have a like a crush with the only other main guy? It doesn’t make sense, to me."

mohgalina shared a tip "It was literally so cute I loved it!! it was better than people made it out to be. I wouldn't get your hopes high it's not like jaw dropping or anything. It's clearly for a child audience but I liked quite a few of the songs. They are really catchy in a good way:)"
