"It’s a cute movie, but I felt Dakota didn’t convincingly play a girl with autism. I know I’m not an expert in how a person with autism would be, and there are many who are within different levels of the spectrum, but I feel she wouldn’t have made so much progress in her communication skills especially with some eye contact within 3 days and letting the officer put his hand on her shoulder when she doesn’t like strangers touching her at all does not seem plausible. I of course liked the dog Pete, he’s such a cutie and a good emotional support dog for Wendy."
