After a flare-up of domestic violence, he flees home and is tracked down by a bitter guidance counselor, Patrick, also a redhead. Patrick looks upon Remy’s sullen insolence with both sympathy and disdain and decides to toughen him up...

"Cassel is very good (unsurprisingly)... and the first half of the movie is good. But, it goes off the rails, and Cassel’s character (who played the role of the flawed but somewhat grounded mentor) goes off the rails with it. The nonsensical unfolding of the second half negatively impacts this film. So, while enjoy parts of the film, as a whole, I’m not real sure it’s something worthy of recommendation. "
