"A must watch every Christmas "

"This movie is so cozy and feels so realistic and I love it a lot. There’s just so many little details that exist almost as background noise but add so much to the story. Like I love that they still have a few Halloween decorations up even though it’s Christmas time. And how Diane Keaton’s book has a publisher’s remainder mark. And the way they talk with ASL even when Thad isn’t in the room. And how each of the kid’s rooms perfectly reflect their personalities. I love how Diane Keaton says “that’s you and me kid” after Meredith gives everybody their Christmas presents. I love all the little details and it’s probably one of my favorite Christmas movies because of them."

"I would give this 3.5 stars. I thought this was an interesting modern family Christmas movie with some good sub plots."

"Just love this movie. I fell in love with it when I went to see it in the theaters. Again, everyone is just wonderful in it. It takes place at Christmas, a family getting together for the holiday. It’s fun, drama, funny at parts and I have to reveal, sad too. But, I’m one who does not mind crying at movies, so if you don’t like to do that then I would not watch this. It it really is a wonderful movie. Worth watching- if you don’t mind crying. Hope you watch it if you have not seen it. It really is worth it. "
