"My second arumer Willis movie in a row, this one is slightly better than What Lies Ahead.
First, I'll get this stupid tidbit out of the way and say I'm thankful she didn't have lip injections for this movie because those duckbill lips are VERY distracting!
The thing is, Rumer actually can act. I think she needs some acting lessons but she already has what it takes. She just continues to take these low budget, tv movie type movies where she doesn't seem to grow. I'm not sure if it's because she doesn't want to use her parent's names to get better movies or if she just isn't wanted for high budget movies. But her potential is definitely there.
This movie had a better script, and perhaps a slightly better budget, than What Lies Ahead. The acting of the other characters was much better in this movie as well. The script wasn't original and it was obvious whodunit from the start, in my opinion. The cinematography was better but sometimes the sound was off. Like when they were talking in an office it sounded tinny or hollow or something, like a cheap home movie. And a scene at the end was extremely ridiculous. Like they couldn't figure out how to film a struggle and a person falling and landing where they wanted so they just filmed their heads and then cut to the person who has fallen, without having to show how they got there. I would say you should watch it to know what I mean but seriously, don't.
Even though this is a bit better than the other movie, it's still an absolute waste of time. I took another one for the team so you don't have to watch it.
1.5/5*s rounded up, or 3/10*s"
