"Although one of my favourite films of this genre is The Great Escape, this film is very good. I had heard of this film before, but I wasn't in a hurry to see it. But I am glad that I did. I liked seeing William Holden in a role that he was entirely comfortable playing. There is a great ensemble cast, and a good amount of suspense.
