"This movie features good music from the #70s ~ Frank is pensive, polite, decent, intelligent, wise & a professor @ NYU — he grew up in a very small town in the south where being gay is a major stigma & where people are too concerned about their reputation — eventually you learn that he’s holding in some tremendous guilt for something that happened to him in his past."
"i love a cozy queer film. although i mostly watched for colton ryan (whose brief role is INSANE btw), paul bettany’s performance is truly the highlight. he creates an uneasiness despite the warm atmosphere and i felt for him in his every precise movement. i kinda wanted more from the side characters but overall frank’s arc was beautiful to watch and i had a lovely time.
