"Hilariously accurate scene at the dance competition with the different types of studios. But this was pretty cringe-y overall. Some good acting by a couple of the young kids. I laughed a bit. But it was mostly very cliche and the main character wasn’t very likable, even at the end. 😕"

"Sofia Carson is a brilliant performer, as evidenced by her breakout role in Descendants. But the entire young cast shines here. The movie starts out somewhat shaky, but once it finds it's footing - it really picks up the pace. Plenty of pleasant surprises, and each dance students story is deeper than the trailer lets on. Left me wanting more, and made my hands hurt from clapping❣🍌🥕💃🏻 "
