Also one of the sense that I think was supposed to be serious made me laugh out loud in the theater. Okay it wasn’t all bad there where so interesting ideas and sense but they are few and far between."

Just to be very disappointed in the totality of the film. This wasn’t “𝗘𝘅-𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮” or even “𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻” both which at least had a fairly orchestrated plot. Yes I understand most men aren’t sh*t but I think women already know this. Yes toxic masculinity is a thing that’s done by weak men. I could never in life be like any of these men depicted in this film"

I enjoyed that it doesn’t really have a over the top story. Just someone dealing with their own demons. It gets really weird at the end though it doesn’t take away anything just thought it was unnecessary still enjoyed it though. No matter how weird it got"

Visually striking with elements of body horror - the audio is also a stand out in the film. A timely story of the pervasive nature of toxic masculinity and the ever present dangers women face in everyday life."

james_johnson_2142 shared a tip "Bruh, I honestly don’t know how anyone could say they liked this movie. Unless you’re a prestigious art snob, this movie is not for you. Literally the climax of the film is a rolling birth scene (I.e a dude gives birth to himself like 5 times and you see every disgusting moment, even down to the time when he birthed himself out of a ****** on his back). Sure the cinematography was wonderful but that doesn’t make up for the latter half of the film. Would not recommend."

Personally, I enjoy nuance and symbolism in my horror but this is more....(spoiler alert)....all men are the same person kind of thing."

Quite creepy and gory, with great special effects and a lot of thought in the details. The acting is also amazing! Not your usual horror movie, there are quite a bit of long sequences with no dialogues. You’ll be left collecting your thoughts and feelings. A theme that will especially haunt women, and seems all too familiar and uncomfortable… Content warning: - Domestic abuse (physical and mental, including gaslighting) - Suicide - Strong body gore - Full frontal nudity - Religious themes and talks of sin & religious guilt - Animal carcass - Stalking - Pregnancy and birth"
