B NoelleThis is a story of hope, perseverance, and courage. Ruta beautifully sheds light on the struggle of the Romanian people to overthrown their communist government. You will be captivated by these characters as they do whatever it takes to fight for the freedom they deserve. So intense and so good. 💯👏🏻 Plus, it’s her shortest book, so it’s a quick read!
B NoelleHenry’s done it again! The characters and their journeys are so genuine and relatable. You will find someone- some struggle- that you understand and feel. Not to mention Charlie is the perfect book boyfriend. ❤️ 🔥You see so many opposites attract stories, it was fun to see one where the similarities are what pull them together. It’s a refreshingly different dynamic.

I was thinking about reading Book Lovers next! I loved Henry’s other books (Beach Read was my fav). Has anyone read it? What kind of tropes are in it? 👀

Just finished season 4! IT WAS A RIDE! My thoughts: 1) the horror vibe was dark and amazing. 2) the Vecna twist at the end was great. 3) the separation of all the characters and storylines was a lot at times, but still worked. 4) Steve and Nancy still have a chance!! 👀 5) What did they do to Johnathan’s character this season? 😂 Overall, I really enjoyed it and can’t wait for part 2! What did y’all think?
B NoelleSuch a fun series! It’s got humor, heart, wit, adventure, and a sweet slow burn romance to keep you turning the pages.
B NoelleRuta always paints such a vivid picture of history! This book will transport you to post Civil War Spain and suck you into the struggles and secrets of the people living there there. I loved following these characters as they confront the devastating consequences of war and the reality of living under a dictatorship.
B NoelleThere are definitely some slower parts and very, very detailed depictions of nature, which isn’t really my thing. BUT if you can get passed the first 100 pages or so, you get really into it! It’s truly a beautifully written coming of age story with romance and mystery elements intertwined.
B NoelleI felt so many feelings reading this dark and twisted book. Rio did a fantastic job writing deeply flawed characters whose actions and motivations left you stunned and often times frustrated. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who is a fan of dark academia, mysteries, or true crime type of stories. 💯👏🏻
