"The art style is beautiful, though the storyline slightly lacks. It's a lot of the main female being stupidly naive about the intentions of others, and putting herself in situations that she just should have been smarter about. I do love that she's a self doubter that ends up proving her own self wrong every time. She underestimates herself quite often. Relatable. "

"I enjoy this mostly for the world building, which is fantastic, and Anne's determination more than the romance (that could have been done better, but it doesn't ruin it for me). Challe is a pretty cool character and so are a lot of the others they come across in their travels. "

"My only real complaint is the main character being 15. If she was an actual adult, this would be 5 stars. I don’t think it’s objectively flawless besides the age problem, but it suits my tastes.
It’s beautiful to look at, I like the world building, a lot of the characters are interesting, the stakes are there, while being the kind of comforting media where you trust that things will turn out. "
