"i tried to cont, but i see no real chemistry btw these unattractive actors, total swing & miss paramount . This cont “reprogramming” by hollywierd new power brokers isn’t working , lol They tried the same thing w/ American Gigolo, while i loved Mr. Bernthal in Walking Dead, he falls short of Richard Gere in charisma dept. Bring back actors the same caliber as MichaelDouglas, Clint, Mathew McConaughey, Denzel. I would gladly help finance a rival to hollywierd any day , lol. All of america wont buy into this takeover. I will cont to watch the oldies but goodies 👍🏻"
"I never saw the original 1987 version with Michael Douglas and Glen Close but I thoroughly enjoyed this serialized version. Each episode delivered just the right dose of suspense, drama and intrigue. Lizzy Caplan reprises her role a mentally unstable character convincingly just as she did in “Castle Rock” and Joshua Jackson has come a long way from his Dawson’s Creek days and plays his character extremely well.
The very final scene, is a bit random in my opinion and almost seems forced (in my opinion) unless they are setting it up for another season and wanting to leave the audience hanging but that would be it.
If you enjoy the crime drama genre, and like shoes that have you feeling uneasy and on the edge of your seat I’m sure you’re gonna enjoy this series.
(Those who have seen the original Movie will likely notice the Rabbit which is an ode to the original Micheal Douglas/Glen Close movie of the same name but animals lovers will be happy to know that there were no scenes of animal torture in this version)"
