"I really wish I could review certain seasons. Although I watched until season eight, I only enjoyed the first season. The first season is a bit clunky, but i personally view it as a trilogy of really good zombie movies. "

I eventually just started using it as background noise and putting it on 1.5x speed cause it was getting difficult to get through. "It's no secret that most characters eventually get killed off. Unfortunately maybe that's why the show lost its momentum around season 7. Personally I do think it gets better towards the end of the very depressing Negan war and I still want to see how it all ends despite the now semi-interesting story. I find myself almost forcing myself to finish it now that the last season is out but thankfully I can see the conclusion. I think if the story had gone a slightly different direction 2/3rds of the way through the series then there would have been some maintained interest. "

"Honestly there were only a few good seasons, 1 and 2 were probably the best and maybe 3 and 4. But after that it got dumb. Dont get me wrong, the zombies are so cool and freaky looking, characters are pretty good, and video quality is good. But it got confusing and repetitive the longer you watch. In later episodes they tried to rewind to something we missed in like the 2 episode? Then did some black and white theme for an episode then didn't show parts of the show? Ex- ( SPOILER) when Glenn's wife was pregnant they never showed her carrying the baby OR giving birth to the baby. Then the baby just shows up. Like where the hell did u even come from? There's many other examples like that. And every season there's just a new enemy or bad group trying to take them down. That's my take on this show."
