"I watched the first two episodes on CBS and they were fine, but not good enough to continue watching. The second episode was definitely a step up from the first. "

"I'm not sure the audience for this show. I think the only people watching are people who liked Frasier but outside of some references and nostalgia there's not much to offer. I'm very curious to know what someone who's never seen the Original Frasier thinks about this show.
My favorite scene of the series is the one with Roland, played by Andy Daly. If there's a second season they need to make him a recurring character. "

"Giving this the benefit of the doubt. Kelsey didn’t carry the original series on his own he had incredible co-stars. So far the co-stars seem to be lacking. Kelsey’s Frasier is charming as ever but the rest of the cast is desperately lacking character.
I’m hoping some magic lies ahead for this series because if it continues the way the first two episodes started it’ll be over before it starts.
Oh and one more thing…why on gods green earth would they send Frasier to a bar in Boston that ISN’T CHEERS?!?"

"It can’t compare to the original but there’s some nice stuff that made me laugh out loud. I appreciated three Easter eggs: The bar they go to is Mahoney’s, clearly in memory of the actor who played Marty Crane. The bar is subtly decorated using the same colours of Marty’s old recliner. There’s a character, Moose, which was the dog’s name who played Eddie.
The downfalls of this show are: 1) Since this is a CBS show, there are no flashbacks from the original as it was an NBC program. 2) Continuity issues: Freddy was nerdy on Cheers and on the 1990s Frasier but now he’s a hot fireman? They are trying to recreate the Marty-Frasier dynamic and it’s “meh” and annoying. 3) Cheers was a workplace sitcom so you’d think the producers would know how to create comedy in a workplace setting but the Harvard characters are silly and cliché. Where did Allan his “best friend” come from? Was he a minor character in Cheers or are they gaslighting the audience? The old radio station gang was endearing and I miss those characters and the celebrity callers. Niles and Daphne’s “will they or won’t they” tension was a huge part of the original show. I suppose they are lining Freddy and Eve up this way but it’s not especially dynamic so far. David is a good Niles junior but again, he can be annoying instead of loveable at times. In both Cheers and Frasier there was an offscreen character (Vera and Marris). This time around it seems like the only offscreen characters are non-returning ones. So, I’ll watch because there aren’t many good sitcoms out there that measure up to some of the ‘80s and ‘90s classics but this reboot is missing the mark."

"Awful.....shame they tarnished the previous gem of a series with probably the most Un-funny production. (Maybe Miles, Daphne & Martin were the funny ones??) Better reboots out there"
