"In my opinion, the first season is incredible and I could not stand the second season/prequel. This first season had an amazing mix of emotional depth, commentary on childhood trauma, loss, grief, complexity of life and people, legendary cultural folklore, dark humor, action, fantastic acting, and beautiful imagery. 5 Stars for the first season ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Season 2/Prequel: Tale of The Nine Tailed 1938 The second season felt like it had very little emotional depth and little to no plot. There were ample problematic elements including normalized sexually coercive behaviors, misogynistic character tropes, superficial sexist psychological depictions of characters, and toxic masculinity tropes that completely contradicted the character behaviors of the first season, in the characters from the future timeline at that. It felt like a completely different show with the lack of richness and psychological depth of the first season. "
