Walker, Texas Ranger

"I own every season & when I first got a computer this was the first show I illegally watched on YouTube. That says something. Everytime I bought a random season (since at the time you could only find what Walmart or target chose to have, & I was a kid not able to buy things online) I binged all the episodes. I even rewatched the show in its entirety as I went. I love it. However, it is by no means accurate. If you want an accurate cop show go to Blue Bloods. This is THE cowboy cop show. The true one. I don't know if it's the original, but I would say it's the one that popularized it. It doesn't get any more extreme cowboy than this. Even now though, I'll just rewatch my favorite episodes or rewatch the last two seasons because I love Sydney & Gage. I only wish there had been more seasons with them. Them & Uncle Ray are probably my favorite characters. Uncle Ray is basically the Iroh of this show even though this show came before ATLA. Each episode is it's own adventure & shows the mystical elements our world has. It even respects other religions and opinions. Which is refreshing when the shows of today force an idea on you. (Christianity is the main point in most episodes but in ones with other religions or cultures present Walker doesnt belittle it) Walker himself is supposed to be half Cherokee & that side shows up a lot. I love every minute of the show. That doesn't mean I love every episode or can watch them all, but it is the one show with 8 seasons that when I go to rewatch it, I don't have to skip anything. I may want to, but every episode has its own flair & I can deal with the few bad ones. Granted some episodes do take those mystical elements far or make a basic James bond villian. But it's worth the watch. "
