"I made it through three episodes and had to stop. I think this would be good for some people who like serious dramas, but it was just too single-toned and bland for me. About a Judge whose son accidently commits a hit-and-run homicide and how they try to cover it up. Kicker is that the person he killed is the son of a wealthy local mafia boss who will do anything to avenge his son. "
"With this show being billed as a limited series I was surprised and happy to see they created season 2 which is supposed to be the last season. After watching the premier of episode 1 I’m just curious where this season will be going. "

"I kept asking myself what would I have done in that situation? 🤔 so many innocent lives taken too soon. If Season 1 was good, hello Season 2!! If there were 6 stars, I’d given them all. "

"I'm more than halfway through the first season and it's quite good. The only problem I have is that I feel like I'm watching a slightly different version of Walter White. I have loved Bryan Cranston since Malcolm in the Middle. He is an excellent actor. I just feel like most of his characters are slight variations of one person. Maybe it's just me. It's not necessarily that the judge feels like Walter trying a new profession, but more like both characters have similar actions and reactions that land them in similar situations with very bad men.
Regardless, I'm enjoying the plot. We'll see if I feel the same way after I've finished both seasons. There will be no more seasons so hopefully this short series has a good ending. I'll let you know.
Addendum (1st season review)
The acting was superb and the plot was quite good. There are a couple problems I have with it though. Some might say there were twists and turns but there weren't. The actions of the different players caused things to unfold in a weird and entertaining way but there were no "aha" moments because there was no mystery. We know "whodunit" from the very beginning. And while everything happened in an intriguing (and to some, shocking) way, it was strangely predictable to me. No, we could not predict what everyone would do, but as things happened, I couldn't help but feel like they were not unreasonable. Other than the judge, no one did anything out of character. And the judge was still predictable because he was a parent. Anyone with a child knows what that means.
Anyway, it's hard to accurately put into words what I felt about season 1. This is the best I can do. Regardless of all that, I truly enjoyed the first season. I love what a btch Karma is. The irony is quite apropos.
2nd season: I've watched the first episode and my gut tells me I'm gonna like it more than the first season. It seems more "no holds barred", especially with the judge. What has he really got to lose? I'll let you know!"
