"Now that I've seen more of this show I understand why people like it. I love period piece movies, shows, tv shows, etc. So, it figures that I rather enjoy this. Also the writing is grand in the way this time period of storytelling should be. Well done.
Season 3: What the actual cliffhanger... I don't like how they are releasing this season, but I am happy about the focus of the season. No spoilers.
Season 3 part 2 : I'm happy how my favorite character's situation turned out. "
"I wasn’t into the first season at all and had to stop watching midway through but I think the second season was a big improvement, I watched the whole thing in two days and I’m actually excited about the third season! I will love to see Penelope come into her own and have her own story, I love rooting for the underdog. I hope it lives up to exception but we will have to see. "
"Love this series so far so much drama "

"I absolutely love season one of bridgerton. I watched first season multiple times, but second season had problem with the writing, seemed repetitive. I watched second season 2 exactly once and never looked back. Hoping for better in season 3. I have watched the first 4 episodes of season 3 and so far much better than season 2. Perhaps Shondra was right to start over on season 3 and make it better. Anxiously awaiting rest of season 3."

"I slept on this show until season 2 came out. Then binged both seasons and was absolutely in love. Never read the books, but I love the way the genre was modernized, particularly by changing some popular modern songs into classical music.
Update first half of season 3:
OMFG Colin has grown! I'm in love. Also, last episode 🔥🔥 *still fanning myself*"
"I will admit, I put it on then turned it off 2 minutes in. I'm not one for such graphic scenes that they often show, but the story itself intrigued me enough to try again (also a friend wanted my opinion on it so I stuck around). When the excessive moments happened I'd just skip them though, so I am not vouching for those.
It's a historical drama that truly shows the full aspect of a relationship. (Don't get me started on how that 1st season one really turned out though) it dives into many different characters & their role in their society. I tend to hate realistic fiction, but a historical 1 managed to intrigue me beyond measure, after episode 2.
The characters keep you entranced & finding out who Whistledown is throughout the show makes the watcher invested. The obvious pick is thrown out than the one you should've realized from the get go is revealed in the final moments of season 1.
I enjoyed the way the story kept me intrigued. Even until the end I wanted to see how their stories played out. So when I finished season 1 I hoped for more but understood I wouldn't get it. Then season 2 came out.
I freaking love season 2! It's not near as vulgar so I didn't have to skip so many moments. Plus, that love story I enjoyed more. However, I thought that the forced obstruction between them was a bit much. It just kept infuriating me as I watched it occur. Still, I enjoyed seeing how everyone progressed (hated how they just cut the Duke because his actor is "too big a star for a cameo" so stupid).
It only made me want a 3rd season even more. I can't wait to see these new characters show up & how they'll progress the show. I truly enjoyed the way they looked in the mind of a 1stborn then. It felt pure & real, especially his conversations with Daphne. Those moments felt like true insights which just work. I'm looking forward to seeing how it continues but I worry because it wasn't so vulgar in the 2nd season the audience gave up. Which would suck."
