"This movie is so nice to look it makes me wish more movies weren't afraid to play with color cause I could look at this movie al day and the soundtrack is an absolute bop! But that's where all the good I have to say ends...this movie was very messing with story telling and it took me all day to finish cause I found myself confused or bored. I think I understand that this movie is supposed to be disorienting but at what cost? The cost of an actual good story. At least for me this a case of all style and very little substance. "
"Honestly gorgeous for a horror flick. Acid neons, embroidery textures, glinting metal, creepy art nouveau architecture. Ultimately I didn’t find the supernatural angle the least bit scary, but being gaslit and manipulated is the real horror here. Some of the deaths are so ridiculous I burst out laughing at their absurdity, but the movie is so well constructed and entertaining I didn’t care. One jump scare did spook me pretty good."
"While this movie was before my time (and a foreign film) so it's not 100% speaking my language as horror is concerned it is an experience that just needs to be had by any hardcore horror fan. It's trippy in parts and occasionally difficult to follow (one instance of an animal behaving strangely that the movie doesn't make obvious was a result of witchcraft). But as it's a movie that proves that horror movies are art, I'm glad I watched it. Dario Argento is an icon of horror cinema, and I recommend a watch even if Suspiria isn't quite your taste. "
"The visuals and soundtrack make this movie a literal nightmare, but in a good way!"
