"I wouldn’t say it’s the best but it was kind of funny for each dog owner character because there probably are some people like that in real life who show off their dogs.
It was giving out The Office vibes with how they filmed it especially with interview moments and how some of the scenes used cameramen to hold it instead of machines to keep the footage steady.
Some might think this movie was boring especially if they’re not into dogs. I liked the cast and it’s so funny to see Catherine O’Hara with Eugene Levy again playing a married couple, I didn’t know they had acted together before."
"If you don’t find this movie funny, I’m not sure we can be friends. During Cookie and Gerry’s talking head where they are reminiscing about how they met, he says he has 2 left feet and the camera pans down and he literally has 2 left feet! I think this is the most relatable of the Christopher Guest films because so many of us have dogs or have seen dog crazy people but every character is perfection! I quote from it daily & have watched it too many times to count. "
