"i remember watching this almost a decade ago, and it was so unmemorable i couldn't tell you anything about how it ended or whodunnit. about fifteen minutes after i finished it the second time around, i can barely bring myself to remember any relevant details either. lupita n'yongo and michele dockerey are wasted. the action scenes are choppy and incomprehensible. there's some very classy racism and homophobia (sarcasm), and jodie foster's character is very much a Karen to the airport staff about her stupid window. i liked the star trekky stewardess outfits and the muslim doctor. Watch Speed or Red Eye instead."
"A good action movie with thrilling twists."

"I saw another review on here talking about the racist bits. Though there is some racism and homophobia from the characters in this movie, they are barely present in the movie and shouldn’t be your main focus. It’s one thing if it’s downright bad writing, but it’s not, you are supposed to dislike some characters because it makes you question who is actually good. You won’t always find a movie that is perfect, especially not made in the 2000s. The character’s racist remarks mirror what is still present in todays society, but it isn’t the main focus of the movie, don’t let that sway you from actually liking the plot. It’s a good movie with lots of suspense!"
