"It's like Seinfeld the movie. A movie about two cashiers (one who wasn't supposed to come that day) and their weird and normal day full of relationship problems, funerals, having sex with a dead man in a bathroom, and hockey. Kevin Smith's best movie, and I believe it's his first! It's not for everyone, it's irreverent, vulgar, and completely dumb, but if you like that stuff, total recommendation for you!"
"Tough movie to talk about as there are parts of it that I can tell you right now haven't aged particularly well. But I loved it in my late teens/early 20s and there is something to be said about this movies place in independent film cannon to popularize indie films and also how adequately it exemplifies young men at that age range at that point in time with its characters and dialogue. Something that Kevin Smith would only get further and further from with its sequels (his fame and wealth only pushing him further from what could be seen as a relatable perspective mixed with his inability to examine any perspective that isnt his own)"
"Such a hilarious dark comedy movie. The movie cost less than 28,000. It's not always necessary to spend millions of dollars to create an entertaining movie. The movie follows a store clerk throughout his day and loads of crazy encounters he experiences during his day. His best friend works next door at a video store. His friend causes him to get into some sticky predicaments. If you do not enjoy movies that aren't PC then I wouldn't recommend watching it. "
