"I was rather disappointed with this movie because I went in knowing nothing but gifs and clips online so I thought I would be a full on romance, which you got a little of in the first half but then it just turned into a war time movie. It just wasn't what I wanted or was looking for so I checked out for most of it. But I will say I thought the ending was really interesting but sad I liked the subversion."

"Definitely in the minority on this film that everyone seems to love. I just found it to be boring after the 1st act and not really one likeable character. Not even the couple of Robbie and Cecilia who seemed to think they didn’t have to explain anything to a 13 year old little girl."

Time passes by and the damage is irrevocable. The cinematography was awesome. I think this is one of the first movies that showed me the great magical element that cinematography is. Bravo!"
