Christina Ricci is so Precious in this movie you can’t help but fall in love with her. "

"You know, I'm kind of surprised how good this is. I never expected to like it. It freaked me out as a kid. I guess her nose was too much for me. Other kids enjoyed it thought it was funny, I just knew it wasnt meant to be funny. But after I matured I watched again. It's actually very well made. And I believe it gave Disney the confidence to come out with movies that pushed the boundaries like Frozen. It's like a kid version for families of Shallow Hal. The actress is sweet and you fall for her journey. You feel invested early on and the payoff is worth every minute."

A sweet message about self-esteem and confidence, along with plenty of silly antics, crazy 00's set design/wardrobe (it feels like Willy Wonka), and a half decent romantic subplot you'll enjoy just enough. This was a must-see when I was a teenager and is a great rewatch now."
