"An sci-fi action film about an analyst that joins a military operation to capture a android terrorist that began a war between humans and AI’s before the start of the film, only to be in the front lines after the ship one in orbit around the l pool abet in a neighboring galaxy!! Finding herself alone and with only an AI to help, she finds she must take a step of trust she lost in the past as the mystery of the war and its hopeful conclusion as two individuals must work together to become a single unit!!"
"I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. I love a good sci-fi flick and this one checks all the boxes. The special effects and action scenes were on point, the futuristic designs of tech and mech suits and the alien world landscapes were both impressive and inventive. The movie has equal helpings of humor and drama, as well as generous doses of action and suspense. Even Jennifer Lopez was impressive as the titular character of Atlas, she really has come into her own as a well rounded actress. I enjoyed her reluctant relationship with the AI named Smith. This movie kept me thoroughly entertained through its 2 hour runtime, when I really hadn't expected to be. 9/10"
"Critics are dogging this sci-fi/action movie. But look, you’re either in on the joke and like it, or you don’t. The B level FX, the cheesy sets, costumes that are all still really fun and cool to look at. The nonsensical, dumb plot. The exciting action and fight scenes with mech suits and weird weapons. The overacting, the staying way too long in the emotional scene, the sensical run time. It’s all part of the package. We beg for new content and when they give us these dumb, fun popcorn movies, they are at times too under appreciated. This made my Friday night much more enjoyable. "
"This movie was not like her usual movies, but it was just OK maybe because I’m not really into sci-fi per se"

"Brilliant sci-fi movie! I loved the Atals/Smith relationship. I effing cried even dang it. I hate when they make AI so humane, lol makes me cry. They did a good job on story and special effects.
Four stars because few things needed more elaboration or was not realistic 🤔 but nonetheless a must watch! 🌸
Enjoy!

"This movie gave me.what I needed. I loved the look of the futurist world. It reminded me of the first time I saw the fifth element. I have always liked Jennifer Lopez's acting if not her singing. . . 😆. Add in Sterling Brown and we have a winner. So much of the movie was her and her AI. The person who voiced Smith's AI voice was so good. Check this movie out if you're looking for an entertaining sci-fi."
